Silkthorn is an independent digital publisher and online bookstore. We publish original fiction under our own imprint and produce new digital editions of historical and public-domain texts, and we sell those titles directly to readers on this site as instantly delivered e-books.
What we sell
Our catalogue has two sides:
Original fiction. Contemporary and dark romance novels written for our imprint and published under pen names, a longstanding and standard practice in fiction publishing. Current titles include Wicked Heir, Vow of Ruin and Missing Stories.
Historical and public-domain texts. Carefully prepared digital editions of out-of-copyright works, such as The Complete Apocrypha of the Ethiopian Bible, re-typeset and formatted for modern e-readers.
How buying from us works
Every product on this store is a digital e-book. When you complete checkout, your files are delivered to your email address within minutes as standard EPUB and PDF downloads that work on Kindle, Kobo, Apple Books, phones, tablets and computers. There is no physical shipping and nothing arrives in the mail.
Payment is taken once at checkout at the price shown; we do not sell subscriptions and there are no recurring charges. If something goes wrong with a download or a purchase, our refund policy explains exactly how we make it right.
Who we are
Silkthorn's original fiction is written by author Sloane Ashford, who works together with Pursue Greatness LLC full time. Around her, a small independent team handles everything in house: acquiring and editing manuscripts, preparing digital editions, designing covers and pages, and supporting readers after purchase. We are a digital-first studio rather than a traditional publishing house, which keeps our books affordable and lets a story you discover at midnight be in your hands at midnight.
